Goal & Sliding
The golden frame shows the target shape. Fill it completely with tiles of the shown color — where the other tiles end up doesn't matter.
Tap a tile and swipe in a direction. The tile and every tile in front of it slide exactly one space, up to the next blank. Without a blank in the row, nothing moves.
The board is packed with tiles — only a few cells stay free.
The tile slides into the free cell — move by move, order emerges.
Stars & Ideal
"Ideal" is the move count of the best solution. Ideal or fewer earns three stars, up to two moves over earns two stars, otherwise one star.
You can't lose: "Undo" and "Restart floor" are always free — so you can experiment freely.
Three grades
The fewer blanks a grade has, the more you need to plan ahead.
| Grade | Blanks | Floors |
|---|---|---|
| Chaski (the runner) | Three | 1,014 |
| Kuraka (the lord) | Two | 1,025 |
| Sapa Inka (the ruler) | One | 1,107 |
The floors build on each other: boards from 5×5 to 8×8, target shapes grow larger and later split into two parts.
The Inca Year
The calendar disc shows the twelve month symbols of the Inca and, in the center, Inti, the sun.
Each symbol consists of several fragments. Every ten solved adventure floors — in any grade — one fragment turns golden. When a symbol is complete, a symbol floor opens: the silhouette of the symbol in its color on the big board, with double gold. Then the next symbol begins.
Once all twelve symbols are golden, Inti awakens and the whole disc shines in gold.
Daily puzzle
One floor per day, the same for every player. Solve it as well as you can — the day's stars appear in the menu. The daily puzzle earns the most league points – solve it several days in a row to grow your puzzle streak.
Find all past puzzles and solutions on the Incatower daily puzzle page.
Challenges
Four modes, one attempt per mode each day. The floors are the same for every player on a given day.
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Ideal Streak | Solve every floor in the ideal move count. The first move over it ends the run — your score is the floors completed (up to ten). |
| Master Run | Five floors with a single blank. All moves count — fewer is better. |
| Time Run | Five floors against the clock. Seconds count. |
| Blind Build | The target frame shows for only three seconds, then you fill it from memory. Moves count. |
An abandoned run is spent. Every solved floor counts toward the Inca Year, every run earns league points.
League
You play in a division with 49 others. Every day at midnight (UTC) it settles: ranks 1–10 move up a tier, 11–30 stay, 31–50 move down.
League points: A new adventure floor gives 10/20/30 depending on stars, the daily puzzle 50, a finished challenge 20. Only real progress counts — repeats earn nothing.
Seven tiers: Clay · Copper · Silver · Gold · Turquoise · Emerald · Sun. The best of each division earn gold, hints and undos — more at the top.
Helpers
Three helpers are at your side: Hint, Undo, and the x2 booster (double gold). The first hint and the first undo are free on every floor.
